Reader's Room: Fairy Bedroom

This weeks Reader's Room belongs to a little girl named Ella. Ella's mum Donna created this special fairy room. The inspiration all came from the purple fairy door and Ella love for Tinkerbell and fairies. Donna didn't want to make the room too pink because as a child everything in her room was baby pink which encouraged a dislike for the colour. She wanted the room to be quite modern and not too 'young' so Ella could grow with the room. This was achieved with the framed prints and a simple plain but elegant quilt cover.

I love this magical fairy door setting. I actually have a door, letterbox and toadstools ready to set up for my girls 3rd birthday. I hope she loves them as much as Ella loves hers.

Cube shelf from Shelving Shop. I've also seen them in Masters

Where is the wall storage unit from next to the bed? We are about to move into our newly built house and my daughter didn't want a bedside table but I think this would be perfect for her to store things in as well as be beside her bed.

It's from ikea - called Kallax. The cupboard and drawers are inserts you purchase separately.
You can also find similar storage at bunnings
